Battling Myanmar's heroin addiction.

I came came across this very interesting video above on CNN today and wanted to share it with you! Heroin addiction is a very serious problem here in the states but it also reaches very far into the corners of the world. The video depicts some of the drastic measures taken on by a local Christian drug rehabilitation center to combat the heroin epidemic in Myanmar (also known as Burma), Southeast Asia. Reverend Samson, who runs the center, estimates that between 65% to 75% of young Burmese people use heroin -- shocking!

Although Myanmar is a majority Buddhist country, Samson believes that through Bible scripture, singing and musical prayer he can save them -- and it honestly seems to be working. Through their brazen method of "captive rehabilitation" the center essentially provides a physical barrier between the patient and the drug. This is a sharp contrast from the state's typical methadone treatment centers. Methadone, a Schedule II narcotic in the United States, is a synthetic opioid commonly used as an analgesic / maintenance anti-addictive and reductive preparation for patients with opioid dependence addiction. Can you identify some tell tale signs of heroin abuse?
